Antidote To Hackery

Insofar as there is enough hackishness in contemporary American political journalism to keep Alex Pareene angrily busy with his lists, every thinking citizen has a stake in supporting something better. The Washington Monthly is something a lot better. Aside from the features that have made the magazine famous, and the book reviews that have made it distinctive–and oh yeah, some online offerings such as Political Animal–the Monthly represents a living tradition of independent journalism well worth keeping alive.

You can do your part, if circumstances allow, by making a donation here. It will help us continue to provide a regular antidote to hackery.
