Just when it seemed our discourse couldn’t get worse

JUST WHEN IT SEEMED OUR DISCOURSE COULDN’T GET WORSE…. Noam Scheiber described this interview, between the White House’s Bill Burton and Fox News’ Megyn Kelly, as coming from the category of “things that make you want to gouge your eyes out with your pinky, shove scalding hot pokers in your ears, and repeatedly slam the door of a 1950s-vintage, American-made sedan on your head.” Yes, it’s that bad.

It’s possible that Megyn Kelly could be more ridiculous, but I’m not sure how.

It simply doesn’t get any dumber than this. If it seems like the American discourse is getting worse, it’s because Fox News and its team of confused ideologues continue to broadcast.
