Today is the 147th anniversary of the founding of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. There are any number of songs I could offer in honor of the event, but I’m a dog person, so here are The Byrds performing “Old Blue” at the Kralingen festival in the Netherlands in 1970.
