I know this is a nasty, substance-free ad from a wingnut who’s attacking his opponent for failing to blow up the federal government and the global economy, but still, you have to laugh at this new Matt Bevin spot:

YouTube video

The ad will air in the Louisville and Lexington markets during tonight’s NCAA tournament game between the two schools located in those two cities (UL and UK). I don’t know who was responsible for the now-infamous “Duke Moment” in a Mitch McConnell ad earlier this week (or for the abortive attempt to fix it with a substitution of a Kentucky player’s image that risked making him ineligible), but he or she should probably just watch reruns tonight.

UPDATE: Didn’t think to check until somebody asked about it on Twitter, but yes, the Duke jersey number used in Bevins’ ad belonged to Christian Laettner.
