If you are one of those progressives with a soft spot for the junior senator from Kentucky (and we all probably have at least one issue on which we agree with him), it’s probably a good idea to remind yourself now and then of his positions on some pretty fundamental issues. Here’s one:
Is the guy proud of chiding his church for failing to join the antichoice crusade really a reliable defender of civil liberties? I don’t think so.
