Vincent Damon Furnier, better known as Alice Cooper, was born on this day in 1948. Here’s my favorite song from him, 1970s “Long Way To Go,” from Love It To Death, set to images of New York in the 70s. This somehow works, even though Cooper and his band were Detroit- and L.A.-based during the decade.
