Lord-a-mercy, a lot of rock-n-roll icons are hitting 65 or 70 this year. One of my very, very favorites, Procol Harum’s Gary Brooker, turns 70 today. Here’s Procol performing one of their earliest (1967) songs, about broken relationships, “Homburg,” as part of their astonishing 2006 concert with the Danish Radio Orchestra. Brings tears to my eyes every time.
