Eric Cortellessa

Eric Cortellessa is the digital editor of the Washington Monthly. His writing has also appeared in the Washington Post, the NationSlate, and the New Republic. A graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, Eric’s thesis project—a short documentary on criminal records as a barrier to employment—was nominated for a 2015 Emmy Award.
