Rethinking policy on Iran

RETHINKING POLICY ON IRAN…. Following up on an item from last night, Flynt Leverett, senior fellow and director of the New America Foundation’s Geopolitics of Energy Initiative, and Hillary Mann Leverett, CEO of STRATEGA, a political risk consultancy, have a fascinating and provocative item in the upcoming issue of the Washington Monthly on the next president’s unique opportunity to reorient U.S. policy towards Iran. Both will be speaking about the thesis of the piece at the New America Foundation in about 10 minutes, at a forum moderated by Steve Clemons.

For those readers in the D.C. area, here’s a link to the schedule for Tuesday’s event. If you’re outside the beltway and want to tune in, there will be a live webcast on the same page.
