Since it’s the 225th anniversary of my home state of Georgia’s ratification of the Constitution, I was examining lists of Georgia-born musicians, and ran across this fine recording from Bumble Bee Slim, who gradually made his way to California after becoming a Chicago Blues fixture for a while. Here he is with “Pains in My Body.”
