Before joining the Washington Monthly staff, Alice served as vice president of partnerships for the Afterschool Alliance; director of development and partnerships for the Washington Area Women’s Foundation; and deputy director of development and director of foundation and corporate relations at the National Women’s Law Center. Alice has also been an active volunteer on the boards of local community-based foundations, serving most recently as the Whitman High School Education Foundation's president. She is a graduate of Amherst College and Boston College Law School.
