SWEET HOSPITALITY….Last week Duke Cunningham pled guilty to accepting $2.4 million in bribes and evading more than $1 million in taxes. Government documents in the case also referred to a “co-conspirator No. 1,” later identified as a military contractor named Brent Wilkes. But acording to the San Diego Union-Tribune, Cunningham wasn’t the only guy Wilkes was associated with:
Wilkes befriended other legislators, too. He ran a hospitality suite, with several bedrooms, in Washington ? first in the Watergate Hotel and then in the Westin Grand near Capitol Hill.
