Soft bigotry, low expectations

SOFT BIGOTRY, LOW EXPECTATIONS…. Apparently having said enough about President Obama’s choice in clothes, Andy Card now wants to share a few thoughts about his former boss.

Andy Card, the former chief of staff to President George W. Bush, said Thursday that the public was plagued by misconceptions about the former president, particularly in regards to his intelligence and openness to information.

“First off, President Bush does know how to read.”

OK, but isn’t that setting the bar a little low?
