Steele’s environmental expertise

STEELE’S ENVIRONMENTAL EXPERTISE…. In March, Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele claimed to know exactly what he’s talking about when it comes to climate change. He insisted, that the planet is “cooling,” and argued that all of the evidence pointing to global warming is actually “part of the cooling process.”

This week, a Tampa reporter asked Steele to explain how he knows that the earth is “cooling.” He replied:

“I don’t! I don’t! But apparently neither does anybody else! OK? I don’t. All I know is every morning I come on, I turn on channel 13 and I’ll see what the weather man tells me, OK?”

Actually, no, it’s not “OK.”

I still marvel at the fact that a large group of adults decided to make this guy the head of a major political party.
