QUOTE OF THE DAY…. Rep. Dave Reichert (R-Wash.) has been quite candid about his party’s rhetoric on repealing the new Affordable Care Act: it’s little more than political posturing.

“The more radical approach is let’s repeal this bill but I’m just gonna say that that’s more of a political move, a political argument, than a substantial argument that says, you know, let’s try to make this bill better,” he told Seattle-based KIRO radio in March.

Last week, Reichert was one of 30 House Republicans to unveil legislation (H.R. 5424) to repeal the new health care law.

So, according to Reichert, his own bill represents a “more radical approach,” which is more “political” than substantive.

Sounds about right.
