Grover Norquist was on ABC’s “This Week” yesterday, and shared his economic vision.
“I think the biggest thing holding back economic growth now is the concern that next week you wake up and the EPA or some other department of government has decided not just what kind of light bulbs you have, but how big your car can be.”
Got that? This is, in Norquist’s mind, the “biggest” factor preventing the economy from growing.
This is the man who has terrified most of the Republicans in Congress into supporting a pledge he wrote, locking them into a tax policy he thinks makes sense.
The mind reels.
