The political world is fairly quiet this weekend as attention shifts to Hurricane Irene. I hope those in its path are safe and sound, and are taking all precautions.

Under the circumstances, after publishing the items from earlier this morning, I thought it best to just post a Saturday Open Thread, though I’ll be around in the event of key developments.
