Primary Night in South Carolina

The voting in South Carolina’s Republican presidential primary will wrap up in about a half-hour, so it’s time for another primary night open thread.

I’ll update this post a little later tonight — I’m actually going to be away from my desk for much of the early evening — but in the meantime, let’s open the floor to some discussion.

Any predictions on the results? If Gingrich wins, does it end the “Romney inevitability” talk? If Santorum finishes fourth, does he quit?

Let’s hear it.

Update: 8:45 p.m. A few days ago, Mitt Romney’s campaign released a video that said, “On Saturday, South Carolina picks a President.” Now that Gingrich has crushed Romney in the state, I have a hunch the Romney campaign wishes it hadn’t said that.
