Is President Obama smart? Ben Stein wouldn’t put his money on it.
During an appearance on Fox News, the economist and actor said he doesn’t consider the president to be very intelligent.
“Barack Obama is a smart man, you would say that, right?” host Bill O’Reilly asked.
“No, I wouldn’t say that,” Stein interrupted.
“You wouldn’t even say he’s a smart man, huh?” O’Reilly remarked.
“I would say he’s a smart man,” Stein backtracked. “I mean, he’s not in the same league of presidential genius as Nixon, for example, but he’s smarter than the average bear, as they say.”
