At TAP, Harold Meyerson reaches back into the oeuvre of Laurel and Hardy to come up with a marvelous analogy for the many authority figures in and out of government these days who can document misdeeds as they are happening, but never seem to do anything about it. I would supply quotes from the piece, but to make full sense of it Iād have to quote it all. Just go read it.
