Morning music: Patton Oswalt enacts The Coup’s “The Magic Clap”

The Coup is a hip hop outfit of Oakland, California who have been around for over 20 years now. Radicals to the bone, they not only write lyrics that are sharp, funny, and deeply political, but musically, they can lay down some killin’ grooves. Michelle Malkin called one of their records “stomach-turning” — yes, they are that good!

Here’s their latest video, in which Patton Oswalt acts out the lyrics “Magic Clap,” a song on from their most recent, and excellent, album, Sorry to Bother You. Enjoy!
