President Barack Obama will apparently go on a bus tour next week to promote his “plan for reducing college costs.”

According to an Associated Press article

The White House says Obama will embark on a 2-day bus tour next week, stopping in Buffalo, Syracuse and Binghamton in New York. He’ll also visit northeastern Pennsylvania. White House spokesman Josh Earnest says Obama will explain his ideas for reducing costs and improving value.

Obama has said he’s planning an aggressive strategy on costs so Americans can get training needed for the rapidly changing economy. A first step came last week when Obama signed a bipartisan bill to restore lower student loan interest rates.

Really keeping us waiting here, Obama. As I pointed out earlier in the week, the student loan interest rate bill actually did nothing to reduce the cost of college; it merely prevented the costs from increasing.

I’m really looking forward to this extravaganza, because perhaps we will finally see if he’s got any good ideas, but do we really need bus tour for this one? Just tell us your ideas. It’s been four years already.
