Cyclone Phailin has made landfall on the Indian coast near Gopalpur with sustained winds of 125 mph. They’ve prepared as best as they can, but this storm has the potential to be even more devastating than Hurricane Katrina. My thoughts are with everyone in this storm’s path, and I hope that the American government can get its act together so that we can be of some assistance to India as they try to care for the injured and rebuild from the devastation.
