The Plot To Enact Single-Payer Advances

Since we’re sort of commemorating hoaxes and deceptions and plots today in our music videos, it’s worth noting that one very visible conservative observer thinks that Democrats are exploiting the House Energy and Commerce Committee hearings on the Obamacare exchange rollout in order to–wait for it–abandon the Affordable Care Act and pursue a single-payer system.

Yes, that’s Rush’s take on today’s hearings:

Everybody’s now caught up in whether Obama knows the details of this or not, and I’m just gonna tell you, he doesn’t care. He doesn’t care. Mao Tse-tung didn’t know the details, all of them. Neither did Fidel.

I’m just saying these guys have a different agenda. The details don’t matter. The chaos is what’s crucial here, and with every new day of chaos, they’re closer to what they really want, which is single payer. And if the Republicans don’t understand that, they can nail Sebelius all day long and they’re not gonna accomplish anything.

Well, then, I guess the progressives who have been criticizing Obama for embracing some corporate-whorish conservative kludgy health care model instead of waiting til the end of time for single-payer to become politically viable owe him an apology. But we’d better hurry, fellow Alinskyites, because Rush is on to us.
