Another day of very gradual improvement for my father, so I’m hopeful we’ll get some better long-term news soon. Thanks once again for the prayers and best wishes.
Here are some remains of the day:
* At Plum Line Ryan Cooper argues Elizabeth Warren is of greater use to the progressive cause in the Senate than on the early presidential campaign trail.
* Reid suggests Senate will take a look at the possible need for screwing up the deal with Iran via stronger sanctions, but not until after Thanksgiving recess.
* TPM’s Dylan Scott interviews Tom Daschle about the Obamacare rollout. Daschle, you may recall, was Obama’s first choice to serve as HHS Secretary, but nomination withdrawn over errors in tax returns. Think he’s glad?
* At TNR Franklin Foer argues that Obama’s successor will have to return to a Clintonian focus on reinventing government.
* At Ten Miles Square, Keith Humphreys predicts surge of “captive audience rage” as cell phone use on commercial airlines flights okayed.
And in non-political news:
* Speaking of air travel nightmares, projections suggest that in many major cities airports will soon be as congested year-round as they are now the day before Thanksgiving.
As North Georgia braces for possible ice and snow tonight, let’s stay warm with one more Muddy Waters tune: “Got My Mojo Working,” as performed on Canadian TV in 1966.

Selah.
