I was reading through Lori Montgomery’s preview for WaPo of the long-awaited House GOP tax reform plan, due to be unveiled tomorrow by Ways & Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp, and came to this concluding sentence:
The details of how Camp would make the math work, however, probably won’t be clear until Wednesday, when he is scheduled to release the plan.
That’s really all you need to know. Saying anything else about Camp’s plan would be spinning it in advance. “Making the math work” when it comes to Republican tax plans is like hitting a big jackpot in Vegas: it can theoretically happen, but you could go very broke waiting for it.
