Rock/Blues/Jazz musician Al Kooper, who seemed to be in the middle of a lot of good things in the 1960s and 1970s, turns 71 today. Here he is at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967, with the natural Daylight Video song “Wake Me, Shake Me.” I believe that’s Elvin Bishop on guitar.
