Over the weekend Albert King’s 1923 birthday came and went. Here’s the great blues guitarist showing his versatility with a 1974 funk version of an ancient Mississippi blues standard, “Crosscut Saw.” Halfway through it, he slides into an earlier version that was a hit for him in 1966. Just a good way to wake up!
