Some schools are really into standardized testing. While the increasing prominence of such tests are controversial, faculty at the John D. Spicer Elementary School in Haltom City, Texas, are apparently very excited about the prospect of their students taking the State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR). They’re just so excited they made a music video, to the tune of this, much more famous, song.
This does not appear to be ironic.
