Rick Perry is back, and that gives us the chance to revisit the iconic debate gaffe when he tried to name three federal agencies (including the US Department of Education) that he’d eliminate.. but couldn’t.

“I will tell you, it’s three agencies of government when I get there that are gone. Commerce, education, and the, um, what’s the third one there…?”

According to MSNBC’s Chris Hayes, the gaffe is “worse than you can possibly remember.”

Indeed, Perry has a deer in the headlights look and obviously can’t even think to get off the topic much less remember what he wanted to say. (In the end, he tells the moderator “I can’t, sorry. Oops.”)

It’s one of the longest not-even-60-seconds you may have ever seen. Via Vox.
