Carlos Santana is 68 today. Don’t feel much like replaying his Top 40 stuff, so here’s a (literally) mystic long shot: “A Love Supreme,” an adaptation of John Coltrane’s “Acknowledgement” (from his album A Love Supreme) performed by Santana with Mahavishnu John McLaughlin at Montreux in 2011. This is a reprisal of a collaboration the two performed in 1973 on the album Love Devotion Surrender.
