Today begins week two of the Monthly‘s annual pledge drive.

The Monthly is a nonprofit organization. We have print and online ads, but these only covers a small part of our expenses, which means that we depend on contributions from readers to stay running. So, I hope we can count on your support. This year we’ll send those who donate $150 or more a signed copy of Monthly (that’s the cover of our first issue, from February, 1969) founder Charles Peters’ latest book, Lyndon B. Johnson.

We sincerely appreciate those of you who’ve already shown generous support, and hope other readers will take a moment to help out. You can donate online, through PayPal, or through the mail.

Thank you.

Our ideas can save democracy... But we need your help! Donate Now!
