The Pledge Drive Continues

We’re continuing our fundraising drive for a little longer this week. Thanks so much to everyone who has already contributed already. For those who haven’t, your tax-deductible donation can make a big difference.

If you’re a regular reader of this site and the print magazine, you know that the Washington Monthly offers the kind of reporting and analysis the country needs, breaking big stories well ahead of major outlets.

The magazine has been around since 1969. In 2008, we switched from a monthly to a bimonthly publication schedule to reduce publication costs. Because that’s the thing about publishing a magazine, it’s really expensive.

Print and online ads only cover part of the magazine’s overall expenses; we depend on contributions from readers to keep the Monthly running.

Please know that every tax-deductible dollar you send us helps to keep the lights on and the server up. Just click here here to send a secure online donation.

I hope we can count on your support.

Thank you.

Support Nonprofit Journalism

If you enjoyed this article, consider making a donation to help us produce more like it. The Washington Monthly was founded in 1969 to tell the stories of how government really works—and how to make it work better. Fifty years later, the need for incisive analysis and new, progressive policy ideas is clearer than ever. As a nonprofit, we rely on support from readers like you.
