From up north comes a dramatic reminder that Dartmouth College may be a very exclusive institution, but it’s still located in rural New Hampshire.

According to an article by Meghan Pierce at the Union Leader:

A Dartmouth College chemistry graduate student was arrested Sunday night for allegedly running a methamphetamine lab in his apartment.

Randy Lambreghts [right], 28, of 3 School St., Apt. B, was charged with attempted manufacture of methamphetamine/amphetamine after the New England Field Division Clandestine Laboratory Team searched his apartment.

This is by no means the only time College Guide has looked at drug production in Ivy schools, or even at Dartmouth. This is, however, the first reported incident of crystal meth, one of America’s most trashy drugs.
