I wouldn’t normally devote any time, even on a Friday afternoon, to the ravings of Ted Nugent. But hell, his latest rant was published in an actual newspaper–the favored newspaper, in fact, of the conservatives of our nation’s capital–and articulated something deep within the conservative id.

In a tirade on the perfidy of John Roberts, Nugent built up to this awful anathema:

Obamacare will now join Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid as another unaffordable, unsustainable, runaway, unaccountable social program.

If I had the money, I’d love to set up a Super-PAC that would help Nugent proclaim this message to the American people.
