So Ted Nugent has again disgraced himself with a racist rant. I love this comment from Kathleen Geier:

At any event, the time has come for Nugent’s conservative political buddies to let him henceforth rant in splendid isolation. I’m sure he can find a way to continue his career playing and shrieking at militia events up in the mountains somewhere.

In particular, there’s Mike Huckabee, who’s defended his “friend” Nugent on many occasions and chose to interview (and play with) him on the highest-rated episode of his TV show back in 2011 when Huck announced he wasn’t running for president.

Let’s hear Huck defend Nugent now, or find another rocker who’ll let him sit in on bass.

BTW, I recall seeing Nugent perform with The Amboy Dukes back in about 1969, and Ted was in full hippie regalia, having just performed at the Montreal Peace Festival. Anyone with old footage of him from that era should definitely put it up on YouTube, just to annoy him.
