Our Annual Fundraiser Continues

We’re as tired of asking as you are of being asked, and we offer our sincere thanks to those of you who have already contributed. For those who haven’t, here’s a reminder that your tax-deductible donation can make a big difference.

If you’re a regular, you know that the Washington Monthly—both in print and online—offers the kind of cutting-edge reporting and analysis the country needs now more than ever, breaking big stories well ahead of major mainstream outlets.

The Monthly is a nonprofit organization. We have print and online ads, but this only covers a very small part of our expenses, which means that we depend on contributions from readers to stay up and humming. Take a look around the publishing landscape: many popular websites, magazines, and newspapers are struggling—or have disappeared. The truth is, without your help, we could end up in the same boat.

So, I hope we can count on your generous support of $25, $50, $100 — whatever you can contribute. Just click here to help out. You’ll be able to donate online, through PayPal, or through the mail. If you would like to spread out your donation over the year, you can join our many readers who use their credit card and specify a weekly or monthly amount.

Thanks, and happy holidays!

Support Nonprofit Journalism

If you enjoyed this article, consider making a donation to help us produce more like it. The Washington Monthly was founded in 1969 to tell the stories of how government really works—and how to make it work better. Fifty years later, the need for incisive analysis and new, progressive policy ideas is clearer than ever. As a nonprofit, we rely on support from readers like you.
