Christmas Day Open Thread

I’m going to be attending two family events today and then boarding a plane to return to California. Many of you are also undoubtedly doing to be busy or distracted today, so I’ll just mention a couple of new items and let this become an open thread for anything you’d like to discuss or say. Back to regular blogging tomorrow, the airlines willing!

* Georgia state judge strikes down post-20-weeks abortion ban on state constitutional grounds.

* Ron Paul attacks NRA school “security” proposal with all guns blazing.

* Sobering Karen DeYoung WaPo piece on planning for post-Assad Syria.

* New York Times features symposium on holidays and happiness.

Have a wonderful day.

Selah.
