By all accounts, Hillary Clinton has a robust sense of humor. She’s a big fan of the instant classic Texts from Hillary tumblr, for example.

That’s all to the good, because clearly, humor has been a helpful tool in enabling her to deal with the tsunami of absurd BS that has come her way throughout her career in public life.

For instance, take this example from today’s New York Times. The Times’ Jonathan Martin reports on Republican efforts to portray the 65-year old Clinton as too old to run for president in 2016. For instance, there’s this:

At a conservative conference earlier in the year, Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the Republican leader, ridiculed the 2016 Democratic field as “a rerun of ‘The Golden Girls,’ ” referring to Mrs. Clinton and Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr., who is 70.

Why Mitch, that’s hilarious. You show your ageism, and you get to call Joe Biden a girl!

Dude, have you forgotten that, just five years ago, you idiots nominated a 72-year old man as your candidate for president? Or that your OMG! conservative hero! greatest president evah!, Ronald Reagan, was just a few weeks shy of his 70th birthday when he was sworn in as president in 1981?

You Republicans — you slay me. What a laff riot you dudes are. Keep the comedy coming, guys!
