Eighty-eight years ago today, the Scopes “Monkey Trial” on the teaching of evolution began in Dayton, Tennessee. So we’ll have some monkey music today, beginning with the Rolling Stones performing “Monkey Man” from Let It Bleed in New York in 2003.

Mind-blowing fact: Let It Bleed was released at the half-way point between the Scopes Trial and this year: 44 years ago.
