I had to check carefully, because Politico, like the Roman Catholic Church, has many nooks and crannies and ghettos and hideaways. But unless I missed something, Politico had no fresh content this morning about the huge, eon-defining issue of the weekend, Paul Ryan’s willingness or unwillingness to serve as Speaker of the House. If I’m right, then we have to add the Wisconsin congressman to the list of “winners” from last night’s debate. He probably needed a day off.
