On this day in 1969, over 30,000 “young people” showed up at the Orange Bowl for a “Teenage Rally For Decency” at the Orange Bowl in response to a Doors concert in Miami at which Jim Morrison was arrested for indecent exposure. Here’s the audio from the concert in question, with a very drunk/stoned Morrison performing “Five to One.” WARNING: the audio contains a few banal obscenities.
