Some very good recent news: Sleater-Kinney (the last rock band to which I personally paid much attention) has gotten back together with an album due to be released early next year. Glad Carrie Brownstein has transcended her Portlandia celebrity; when she started doing Amex commercials I figured her riotgirrrl phase was gone for good.

In any event, here’s a good morning video from Sleater-Kinney: “Get Up.”
